Information Collected Upon Registration: When you create a RestingSpot account, you provide some limited personal information, such as your name, email address and password. Some of this information, for example, your name, is listed publicly on our Services, including messages you have left, RestingSpots added, edited or visited, and other activities. Some Services, such as search and public viewing lists, do not require registration. We may also use your email address to contact you regarding system updates and additional service offerings.
Additional Information Collected: All Memorial pages and the GPS locations of RestingSpots on the RestingSpot platform are collaboratively developed by its registered users. Anyone with Internet access (and not otherwise restricted from doing so) and logged in as a RestingSpot user may update the location of a RestingSpot or edit profile information. By doing this, editors create a published document, and a public record of every word added, subtracted, or changed.
For content that is covered by intellectual property rights, like photos and videos (“IP Content”), you specifically grant RestingSpot a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use any IP content that you post on or in connection with RestingSpot (“IP License). When you publish content or information, you are allowing everyone, including people outside the RestingSpot platform, to access and use that information.

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version of the policy will govern our use of your information and will always be at http://restingspot.com/privacy.
